如果是一些年头较长的老车，活塞和汽缸壁之间的的缝隙会变大，可以选择粘稠一些的机油，来增强密封性。另外，机油品质也很关键，有条件的车主可以尽量选择质量合格的半合成机油或全合成机油，虽然保养成本会稍有增加，但它们的工作寿命更长，衰减慢，热稳定性和抗粘度变化的能力比较好。

确认是烧机油之后，那就需要及时进行检测维修了，如果因发动机故障（如活塞环密封不好、气门油封渗漏、缸垫渗漏等），应当尽快到维修站检查，尽早修复故障。
