1. The ABS warning light on the instrument panel is on. Please go to the 4S store for inspection and handling as soon as possible to avoid affecting driving safety and delaying travel.
2. Release the brake after starting and hear friction between the brake pads and brake discs, which is a normal phenomenon.
After the engine starts, the driver will press the brake before engaging the gear. After the gear is engaged, the brake is released and the vehicle starts driving. At this time, the brake pads and brake discs have already engaged at room temperature, but there is not much friction. The vehicle will generate forward or backward driving force after engaging the gear. When the brake pedal is released, the brake pads and brake discs will produce a sound similar to "gurgling". If the brake discs get wet after washing the car, the sound will be more noticeable.
3. After using the handbrake for a period of time, the cable will grow: this is a normal phenomenon. The handbrake cable is composed of multiple sets of metal wires, which have a certain degree of ductility after being subjected to force. After using it for a period of time, it will have a certain elongation compared to the length of the new car and will not have any impact on the parking brake.
4. Rust on brake discs: The main component of brake discs is iron. If the vehicle is not used for a long time, certain rust marks will appear on the surface of the discs. However, the operation of the braking system during driving will eliminate the rust marks and not affect normal use.
5. Heating of brake discs after use: normal phenomenon. Braking is achieved by friction between the brake disc and brake pads, which is the process of converting kinetic energy into thermal energy, thus generating heat. Do not touch the brake disc with your hands after parking to avoid burns.
